Fescue |

.Fescue is considered a cool season grass, but it can be grown year round in our area. Fescue will survive in shade situations where other grasses will not. It still requires some light, usually 3 or 4 hours of direct light per day will keep the fescue looking good. Fescue should not be mowed less than 2 1/2 inches. It can get stressed in July, and August in Oklahoma, but usually recovers in the fall. Overseeding is usually necessary on an annual basis. Our Fescue contains a percentage of Bluegrass, and Ryegrass seeds. Fescue is available as sod. |
